Who We Are

Ecofriendly Africa Initiative (EFAI) is a dynamic non-profit organization founded in 2020 and headquartered in Nigeria. We are a network of passionate young leaders committed to addressing some of the most pressing challenges in Africa—climate change and conflict.

EFAI brings together over 100 young leaders from 43 African countries, creating a vibrant community of changemakers dedicated to making a difference. Through our specialized working groups—spanning areas such as climate peace and security, renewable energy, advocacy, capacity building, and research—we work collaboratively to drive impactful change and empower local communities to take charge of their future.

At the heart of our organization lies a commitment to compassion, innovation, equality, and collaboration. We believe that by fostering inclusive partnerships and pioneering creative solutions, we can create a resilient and thriving Africa for generations to come.
